Deye 3phase 48V low voltage hybrid inverter
With the increasing number of photovoltaic power stations, people pay more attention to the safety of photovoltaic power stations. Specifically, for the solar energy storage system with lithium battery. For solar energy storage plant, it will bring a huge disaster if a fire occurs. As we all know that more than 80% of fires in PV power stations are caused by DC side faults, and arc sparks caused by DC high voltage are the direct cause of the fires.
Compared with high voltage of 300V/400V battery system, 48V battery bank is safer and more reliable in terms of cell balance and BMS protection. E.g., for 48V battery, normally it adopts 14pcs cells in series (NMC) or 16pcs cells (LiFeO4) only. However, for rated voltage of 400V battery, it needs more than 100pcs cells in series. If the cell voltage difference is 0.1V and for 100+pcs cells in series the total voltage difference exceeds 10V, which is huge challenge for the battery BMS and system safety. Also, the battery capacity can’t be expanded easily since the cell balance issue.
Deye new generation three-phase hybrid inverter, SUN-8/10/12K-SG, comes with 400Vac/50Hz output. It inherits many advantages of the previous generation of hybrid inverter. Such as Grid peak shaving, Smart load, AC couple, compatible with Diesel generator etc. Meanwhile, for SUN-12K-SG model, the Max. battery charging/discharging current is up to 240A and rated output power is 12KW even in off-grid mode.
